A state of happiness and feeling good about ourselves can be very valuable for our heart.
Science is looking more and more to the remarkable health giving properties of laughter and feeling good in relation to boosting the immune system, and to maintaining healthy organs such as the heart.
Learning simple yet powerful techniques like Creative Visualization and Deep Relaxation can help you to harness the power of your Mind and Heart to strengthen and heal your Body.
This Introductory Workshop will give simple and effective exercises to relax and calm our thoughts and emotions, allowing our whole system to deeply rest and rebalance on many levels.
As our system rests Physically, Mentally and Emotionally, it is much easier to access a state of Happiness and Well-being spontaneously, as a natural part of who we are.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is often described as active relaxation. The body is supported with props to create an environment of total support for complete relaxation. Restorative yoga creates physiological effects that can reduce the detrimental affects of stress on the body. Some restorative poses work on the whole body and some target a certain part of the body or organ. My restorative classes are designed to move the spine in all directions as well as inverting the body. Research has shown that inversions can improve the functioning of the heart, lessen fluid retention and even balance the levels of hormones in the body. What a fantastic way of nourishing yourself in the depths of winter!
$20 for two hours

Have you experienced a pregnancy or adoption loss, loss of health, a loved one’s serious illness, loss of your job or financial security, death of a loved one, loss of safety after trauma, dissolution of a marriage or long term relationship, loss of a cherished dream or the death of a pet?
When our lives are touched by loss in its many forms, the need for space, support, deep listening and healing is profound. Just as life has cycles, grief has its own cycle. After a significant loss, you may experience many emotions, such as depression, shock, anger, and guilt. Sometimes you may feel like your sadness doesn’t lessen - even with time. These are normal responses.
Tender care and soothing reflection are the foundation for this day of deep healing. Through meditation, healing movement and sharing, you engage in a process of healing body, heart and spirit. The experience of grieving can be life transforming and meaningful. Grief that is expressed and experienced has a potential for healing that can strengthen and enrich your life while honoring the gift that you were given. Take time to consider the wisdom and the gifts gained from the love that was shared and the hope that inspired the journey. Appropriate for individuals, couples, and families. Light refreshments are provided.
