Cara Feldman Hunt
Program Director

As Dhatri's Program Director, Cara researches, plans, develops and implements events, classes and workshops that support Dhatri's mission.  Cara graduated from Columbia University with a Master's degree in Organizational Development. For over 10 years she has worked in both large corporate settings and small start-ups developing systems and implementing programs.  Cara is a creative, hands on, problem solver with excellent project management skills.  Cara lives with her husband Ron and their 2 children Julia and Daniel in Williston, VT. 

Julie Starr

Community Outreach Director

As Community Outreach Coordinator, Julie partners with community organizations and health care providers to raise awareness about the benefits of complementary approaches to wellness and healing. She spends most of her time coordinating the Taproot Program, a pilot program designed to create a nurturing environment for young, first-time moms-to-be through a series of pre and post-natal peer group sessions. Prior to joining Dhatri, Julie worked for several years on social, health, and environmental issues, both domestically and internationally. She has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish and a Master's degree in International Development. Julie lives with her husband, two children, and dog and Essex Junction, VT. 

Ada Puches
Program Officer

In her role at Dhatri, Ada outreaches to holistic health care practitioners throughout the state - inviting them to participate in our public education community. She also oversees the grant writing and fundraising activities of the organization. Ada comes to Dhatri after many years in the non-profit world, and more recently from higher education. She is also, currently, a career counselor in private practice in Burlington, VT. Ada lives in Burlington with her husband Mark and they have been long-time foster parents through Casey Family Services.

Children's Space Coordinator

Sera Hyjek
Intern

As Dhatri's summer intern, Sera works on social networking, community outreach and advertising as well as helping out in the Children's Space. Sera lives in Middlesex and attends Smith College in Northampton, MA where she studies Medical Anthropology. She is a junior and will be spending next year studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
