Metta Restorative
Join Emily Garrett for a deep, healing practice that combines Restorative Yoga postures with metta meditation. Restorative yoga supports the body with props, allowing the release of deeply held muscular tension and an opening of the energetic channels. Postures are held for 5-15 minutes, giving the body an opportunity to open at it's own pace. Metta means loving kindness. In metta meditation we practice loving kindness towards ourselves and others through the repetition of specific phrases. The combination of these two practices frees up mental and physical tension and allows space to bring more clarity and joy into our lives.
